On Wednesday night, AWANA is the place to be! Kids in preschool (4 years old) through 8th grade participate in team games, listen to a Bible message in worship, and scripture memory. The goal of AWANA is: To reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. For more general information, please check www.Awana.org or contact awana@kcpc.org.
We will meet on Wednesday nights from 7:15 to 9:00 PM Please remember this when considering registering your child and considering to volunteer.
1. For 2025-2026, applications will be accepted online from May 19th through June 29th.
· Eligible children: 4 years old (birthday must be before September 30th 2025) to rising 8th graders in the fall of 2025
· The program will start from Sept. 17, 2025 to May 27, 2026, meeting Wednesdays at 7:15pm to 9:00pm.
2. The registration fee is $40.00 for the first child and $30 per additional child; however, it is $10 per child for volunteers. The registration fee is used to support AWANA missionaries and for KCPC AWANA expenses not covered by the church. The registration fee will be collected if your child is accepted. Your child’s registration is not complete until the registration fee is paid. The registration fee is non-refundable..
3. Children of AWANA volunteers are guaranteed acceptance if the maximum number has not been reached. All others will be placed on a wait list. The names on the wait list will be placed into a random order using Excel’s “RAND()” function. There is no benefit to submitting your application quickly, so please take your time to make no mistakes on your application. Continuing from previous fiscal year, there will be a limit on the number of clubbers in the Sparks and T&T clubs due to limited resources and space. Please see below for the clubber limit:
- Cubby: 20
- Sparks: 65
- T&T: 65
- Trek: No limit
4. VOLUNTEERING IN AWANA: AWANA needs lots of volunteers to work. If you volunteer, your children are guaranteed acceptance unless the maximum number is not reached. You also receive fee discounts and other benefits. To volunteer, please contact us via email at awana@kcpc.org. To be eligible to volunteer, you must be a baptized KCPC member, who completed “Bible Study for Newcomers”. You will also be required to take a background check. We will accept volunteer applications until July 13, 2025 or until the maximum number is reached. Volunteer commitment is every Wednesday evening (6:55 pm to 9:00 pm) from September 3, 2025 (new leader training) to May 27, 2026.
5. You will receive an email by July 6th on whether your child has been accepted or is on the waiting list. Please contact us at awana@kcpc.org if you do not receive an e-mail.
6. Based on the number of volunteers we have on July 7th, we will finalize classroom assignments. If the registration limit has been reached before July 13th, the final registration will be closed. You will receive a final email by July 24th whether your child has been accepted or not. If your child has been accepted, you will receive a notification how to pay the registration fee.
7. If you decide not to send your children to AWANA after you receive an “Acceptance Notification”, please let us know (awana@kcpc.org) as soon as possible, so we can accept someone on the waiting list.

2025-2026 아와나 모든 클러버들은 수요일에 교회에서 모임을 갖습니다.
1. 2025-2026 아와나 신청 :
· 신청기간 : 5월 18일부터 6월 29일까지 온라인 신청만 받습니다.
· 신청 대상 : 만 4살(2025년 9월30일까지 만 4세가 되는 유아) 부터 2025년 가을학기에 8학년으로 진급하는 아이들
· 아와나 기간 : 2025년 9월 17일 ~ 2026년 5월 27일, 수요일 저녁 7:15pm ~ 9pm
2. 등록비는 (첫번째 아이 $40, 둘째 아이부터는 $30). 그러나 봉사자의 아이일 경우에는 한 아이당 $10 등록비를 받습니다. 모든 등록비는 아와나 Missionary를 돕는 일과 교회에서 지원되지 않는 KCPC 아와나 운영비에 쓰여집니다. 등록비는 자녀가 아와나에 등록되었을 경우 받을 예정이고, 개인적인 이유로 등록을 취소하실 경우에는 환불이 되지 않음을 알려드립니다.
3. 모든 아이들의 등록서를 받은 후 엑셀에 RAND()라는 기능을 사용하여 추첨을 통해 1차 등록 여부를 결정하게 됩니다. 선착순제가 아니므로 먼저 신청서를 낸다고 해서 혜택이 있지 않습니다. 시간을 가지고 실수없이 신청서를 작성해서 등록 날짜에만 맞춰서 내시면 됩니다. 이번년도에는 커비: 20명, 스팍스 65명, T&T 65명으로 등록인원에 제한을 둡니다. 교회 시설및 효과적인 운영을 위해 등록 학생 수에 제한을 둡니다.
4. 아와나 봉사자 : 아와나에서는 많은 봉사자들의 도움이 필요합니다. 봉사가 의무는 아니지만, 봉사자들의 자녀는 봉사자 선착순으로 등록이 되며, 등록비 및 여러가지 혜택이 있게 됩니다. 관심이 있으신 분은 awana@kcpc.org로 이메일 보내주세요. 봉사자들의 자격 요건은 KCPC 에 등록된 세례교인이어야하며 새로 오신 분의 경우 새가족 성경공부를 마치신 분이어야 합니다. 그리고 백그라운드 체크도 하게 됩니다.
· 봉사자 모집기간 : 7월 13일(주일)까지
· 봉사기간 : 2025년 9월 10일(리더 훈련) ~ 2026년 5월 27일, 매주 수요일 6:55pm ~ 9:00pm.
5. 7월 6일까지 여러분의 자녀분이 아와나에 등록이 되었는지 혹은 웨이팅 리스트에 있는지 이메일을 통해 연락을 받게 됩니다. 만약 이메일을 받지 못하셨다면awana@kcpc.org로 연락주시기 바랍니다.
6. 최종적으로(7월 13일 주일까지 모집된) 봉사자들의 숫자가 결정된 후에 클래스를 구성하게 되고, 만약 7월 13일 전에 정원수가 채워지게 되면 최종 등록을 마감하게 됩니다. 7월 24일에 자녀분들의 최종 등록에 관한 이메일을 받게 됩니다. 등록비 지불 방식은 추후에 통보해 드립니다. 등록비 지불은 기한 내에 하셔야 하며 혹 기한내에 등록비 납부가 되지 않은 경우에는 웨이팅 리스트에 있는 학생에게 등록의 기회에 넘어갑니다.
7. 아와나에 등록이 되었지만 안보내실 경우에는 꼭 알려주시길 바랍니다.(awana@kcpc.org) 웨이팅 리스트에 있는 아이들에게 기회를 줄 수 있기 때문입니다. 등록비를 납부하시고 나서 등록을 취소하시면 등록비 환불은 되지 않습니다.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
1. If a clubber has more than 4 consecutive unexcused absences per semester (15 weeks), the clubber will be dropped from AWANA and can no longer attend.
2. If a clubber does not complete any handbook section (more than 3 times per semester), the clubber will only be accepted to AWANA the following year if there is no one on the waiting list.
3. If a clubber is absent (excused or unexcused) more than 8 times, the clubber only be accepted to AWANA the following year if there is no one on the waiting list.
4. All parents are responsible for reading all emails sent about AWANA.

1. 한 학기(15 주)에 연달아 4번 이상 무단 결석할 경우 어와나를 더 이상 참석 할 수 없게 됩니다.
2. 한 학기(15주)에 3번 이상 핸드북 섹션을 하지 않을 경우 다음 회계년도 등록시 신청 순번에 상관없이 다른 아이들이 등록된 상황을 보고난 후에 등록의 여부가 결정되게 됩니다.
3. 어와나 학생들이 (미리 연락을 주셨든지, 아니든지 상관없이) 8번 이상을 빠질 경우, 다음 회계년도 등록시 신청 순번에 상관없이 다른 아이들이 등록된 상황을 보고한 후에 등록의 여부가 결정되게 됩니다.
4. 모든 부모님들은 어와나에서 오는 메일을 꼭 읽으셔야 합니다.
